so you may want to pay special attention to detours

Are you registered anywhere?

We have a registry on Babylist, but we are also very open to your pre-loved or excess items. Clothes, books, bottles, nursing gear... There are so many things we're just going to have to try and see what sticks, and we're more than happy to try what worked for you (or didn't and might work for us) and maybe reduce some consumption/waste.

We also ask you to bring gifts for WeeCycle, the local National Diaper Bank affiliate. They could particularly use diapers (especially Preemie and sizes 4-6), wipes, formula (prefer Enfamil Neuropro), baby food and snacks, hygiene products (baby wash, rash cream, etc), and baby thermometers (apparently these have been flying off the shelves lately). WeeCycle has a donation site just a couple miles from our home and serves as a resource bank for several other local organizations.

What to Expect

• All genders and ages are welcome, so bring your family

• We'll have stations where we'd love for you to write some nice words or draw some nice pictures...

...for affirmation and motivation in the birthing room

...for encouragement to us as new parents in general

...to read on the baby's first birthday

• Besides that, the main events will be snacks and socializing (and by "snacks" we mean, Pauline's side of the family is Filipinx, so, don't come too full). Pretty casual!

• A reminder that we have a cat, so please don't bring your dog and do bring your Zyrtec, as applicable
